You can join Moms Demand Action in a march; mothers appreciate flowers and cards for Mother’s Day but what we really want is Congress to reinstate the ban on assault weapons! Take a walk with gun sense supporters in Ohio Congressional District 1 to demand action. Bring your kids, strollers, pets, and wear RED. Step-off location is at the west end of Wasson Way, near the corner of Montgomery and Dana. Park on Lexington or Cleneay just north of Dana on the east side of Montgomery.

Thursday

The next AIR forum is Thursday at noon at Christ Church Cathedral, 318 E 4th St. A startling rise in gun violence is prompting new efforts to curb it. U.S. Representative Greg Landsman will discuss his commitment to working to find positive legislation to address this crisis, while Jack Jose of Christ Church Cathedral will review ongoing local initiatives to prevent gun violence involving young people. Bring a lunch or purchase one on-site.
