Come and enjoy a sermon I wrote for Corinthian Baptist Church and preached in their pulpit last year. We meet the Biblical Patriarch, Jacob, as he attempts to make amends for his wrong doing. As we walk with Jacob on his journey of apology and reconciliation we see him as a returning citizen, someone who has a felony or has served time in prison or jail. What can we learn about returning citizens from Jacob and how might we see any returning citizen differently as he/she returns?
