"The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large" is one of Unitarian Universalism's seven principles.  It is a value we hold dear, but within the public square democracy is under attack.  Adult Faith Development and UU the Vote invite you to Suppressed: The Fight to Vote, A Community Conversation on democracy, voter suppression, and you.  What can YOU do to ensure "all people have a voice" (UU's 5th principle - Children's language)?   How to Participate Register by Friday, August 28 @ View Suppressed: The Fight to Vote before Saturday, August 29 @  This shouldn't take long; the documentary is only 30 minutes long. Access this event using the zoom log-in information from your email (to be sent the morning of). Our goal is to keep this conversation short - between 30 to 45 minutes - as we know many are suffering from digital fatigue.  So, please note that this conversation will be moderated.  And, please, come prepared with your questions.
