Welcome to the First Unitarian Church of Cincinnati!

Our community welcomes all with love, supports learning and spiritual growth, serves our wider community, and works for justice, equity, and inclusion.

Out of an abundance of love and for the health and safety of our community, members and staff, we have temporarily closed our building to help reduce transmission of COVID-19.  Even though our building is closed, our minister and staff are working remotely and we gather every Sunday at 10:00 am online.  Services are also available for later viewing on our YouTube site. https://www.youtube.com/c/FirstUnitarianChurchOfCincinnati.

UPCOMING SERVICES

All are welcome to join our services!  We broadcast live on the First Unitarian Church of Cincinnati YouTube channel.

January 3rd at 10:00 am - Welcome 2021!

The year 2020 is finally over and we celebrate the coming of 2021.  Join Rev. Connie and the First Church ministry team as we gather to share our hopes and dreams for the new year.

January 10th at 10:00 am - Centering for Justice: Supporting the Cincinnati Interfaith Workers Center

The Cincinnati Interfaith Workers Center was established in March 2005 to mobilize, educate, and organize low wage and immigrant workers to achieve positive systemic change. The goal is to provide workers with the tools and support they need to transform their workplaces and communities as a whole.  Today we will hear from three workers and board member Dan Schneider about the important work the Center does.  CIWC is the recipient of our January special plate collection.

January 17th at 10:00 am - Hospitality and Inclusion

What does it mean to be truly hospitable? How do include those who often feel marginalized in our society?  We honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and continue our exploration of “Widening the Circle of Concern” with a special focus on hospitality and inclusion.

January 24th at 10:00 am -In Body and Spirit

It is important that we celebrate our faith in body and spirit.  “May you always remember that you are a whole person, that each of these parts work together.”  Lisa Bouvee-Kemper.  We honor the magnificent vessel that is the human body.

January 31st at 10:00 am -The Mystery

The mystery of life and being is truly awesome - none of us knows the answers to all life’s questions. We don’t even know all the questions.  How do we make sense of something so vast?
