HUUmanists is an
acronym for First Church's Religious Humanist group, meeting just after
church the 2nd Sunday of each month, as posted on the calendar.
Religious Humanists
stand within the general position of Naturalistic Humanism. This is true in
their understanding of the universe, of the importance of the scientific
method, and of the place of religion and values in human life.
It is an effort to
integrate the seven principles of Unitarian Universalism into our thinking
and practice. Books and essays, classic and current, addressing diverse
issues serve as the catalysts for discussion.
Contact Dick
Bozian at 521-2391 to find out more about this group. Meeting dates
and topics are published in the Newsletter.
