First Church Women's Group
 

The Women’s Group cordially invites all women members, friends and visitors to join our monthly Saturday morning gatherings in members’ homes held the third Saturday of most months, from 10:00 to noon.

The Women’s Group provides an opportunity to become acquainted with women friends and members of First in a casual, friendly setting.

Saturday Mornings

The Saturday morning sessions are informal discussions from 10:00a.m. – 12:00 noon on a variety of topics.  The hostess for the day provides coffee, tea and coffee cake or bagels. Each participant contributes $1.00 to the Women’s Fund.

Annual Women’s Retreat
June 6-7, 2008

Our theme was "Dealing with Life’s Transitions."  Once again, the Retreat was on June 6 and 7 at the Grailville Retreat Center in Loveland, Ohio. It included an optional Friday evening group at 7:00 p.m. plus overnight frivolities with some great women. Then an all-day Saturday event began with breakfast at 8:30 a.m. After dinner and a short closing ceremony on Saturday evening, the program ended by 8:00 or 8:30 p.m.

The Women’s Fund

The Women’s Fund at First Church is used to purchase needed items at the church such as a table & chairs for the Minister’s study, to subsidize some costs or scholarships for the annual retreat, and can be spent (or saved) at the discretion of the Women’s Group. 

There is no formal membership, simply come!
